How to use the market calendar
Results days move stocks — a beat or miss against expectations regularly swings a stock 5–10% at the open. The Results lane shows every scheduled earnings announcement with the company's current price and market cap, so you can see at a glance which heavyweights report this week. Tap a company to open its fair-value estimate and Buy/Hold/Sell verdict before the numbers land.
The Dividends lane tracks ex-dates, not announcement dates — the date that actually decides whether the payout lands in your account. The Bonus · Split · Rights lane covers the corporate actions that change your share count, and Board meetings lists non-result agendas like fund-raising filed with the NSE. The + icon on any row adds that event to your Google Calendar.
Where the data comes from
Dates are aggregated every morning at 10 AM IST from company filings with the exchanges — results schedules and market data via Moneycontrol, corporate-action ex-dates via BSE, and board-meeting agendas via NSE filings. Dates can change when companies re-notify; verify against the company's own filing before trading around an event. Nothing here is investment advice — see the disclaimer.
Frequently asked questions
What is an ex-dividend date?
The ex-date is the cutoff set by the exchange: you must own the shares before the ex-date to receive the announced dividend. Buy on or after the ex-date and the dividend goes to the seller. The record date, usually the same day or a day later, is when the company checks its shareholder register.
When do Indian companies announce quarterly results?
Listed companies must publish results within 45 days of each quarter's end, so the calendar clusters in April–May, July–August, October–November and January–February. The exact board-meeting date is filed with the exchanges in advance — that filing is what this calendar tracks.
Why does a results date sometimes change?
The date shown is the board meeting the company has notified to the exchanges. Companies occasionally postpone or prepone these meetings; the calendar refreshes every morning at 10 AM IST, so a changed date shows up here the next day.
What happens to the share price on a bonus or split ex-date?
The price adjusts mechanically: after a 1:1 bonus or a 2-for-1 split the price roughly halves while you hold twice the shares — your investment value is unchanged. Nothing is gained or lost on the ex-date itself; the events mainly improve liquidity and affordability.
Is this calendar free?
Yes. Like everything on StocksWizard the market calendar is free with no login — and each listed company links to its fair-value estimate, Buy/Hold/Sell verdict and financial health score.
